Service is our forte.
We at Technocell Vlies see ourselves as partners not suppliers. That is why our support does not end at the mill gate: our technology advice services are available to our customers whenever they need them throughout the entire converting process, ensuring that our papers are fine-tuned to meet customers’ individual printing and converting requirements. The close development partnerships with our customers enable us to turn their special requirements into paper solutions. And finally, our philosophy of service includes smart processes: ranging from SAP integration and RFID tracking through to transparent order management.
Ideas are our forte.
Constantly developing new papers and refining existing ones is a key element of our philosophy. Because even if a product is “only” used as base paper, it can still have a positive or negative influence on many aspects of the converting process. We have the Felix Schoeller Group’s modern research and development capacities at our disposal to help us by checking our raw materials and testing our recipes. This puts us in an ideal position to work with our customers and see individual development projects right through to completion. Let us discuss your particular specifications – we look forward to tackling whatever challenges you may have for us!
Capacity is our forte.
Growth prospects for the nonwoven wallpaper market are looking very promising. We have the capacity to meet this potential demand – both now and in the future. The home of our nonwoven base paper is our Günzach mill in Southern Germany. But our strategy has the backing of the Felix Schoeller Group’s entire global production and sales structures: nine locations in Germany, Eastern Europe, Asia and North America, 10 paper machines, a total capacity of almost 300,000 tonnes and over 2300 paper experts. There is a promise implicit in this strength: Technocell Vlies is ready and willing to enter new markets with its customers and achieve new growth objectives – today, tomorrow and in the future.
Proximity is our forte.
We are never more than a stone’s throw away and are available to assist with any enquiries you may have.

Quality is our forte.
Technocell Vlies sells three product categories: uncoated nonwoven wallpaper base with a basis weight of 60 – 110 g/m², coated nonwoven wallpaper base with a basis weight of 75 – 130 g/m² and nonwoven lining wallpaper with a basis weight of 110 –150 g/m². Our papers have an excellent surface structure and good opacity. Their characteristics are ideal for achieving convincing print results and optimum flatness and dimensional stability in the final application. All the paper grades are available on request with FSC® certification. Practical experience with our papers has also shown that when printed they use significantly smaller amounts of dye. That gives a new dimension to product quality: clear proof of our solution-oriented approach to production.
Experience is our forte.
We are a relatively new business unit, but we can draw upon more than 115 years of experience in the specialty paper business. Because we know that with Felix Schoeller – the world’s leading manufacturer of specialty paper, which was founded in 1895 – we have the backing of an organisation that has 2300 employees, nine locations and an annual turnover in excess of € 700 million. That gives us access to a worldwide production and sales network, a guaranteed supply of raw materials and highly efficient research and development capacities. For our customers it means that Technocell Vlies is a partner they can grow with – both today and in the future!
